 The scrapyard

The scrapyard, operated by Blake, is a field in Blaine County filled with old broken vehicles.

CrimeCorp uses it for a variety of  reasons, if our members need evidence  to disappear it can be brought here and it will be disposed of, either by demolishing into scrap for vehicles, firearms, or any other metal object, or by incineration for anything that isn't fit for demolishing (bodies, documents, video recordings, hard drives, etc). it can also provide a temporary or long term hiding place for just about anything, from cars to documents to indescript packages to people, they will be out of sight under a pile of rubble, stitched into a seat on a plane that hasn't flown for 10 years, parked next to the pile of cars about to be demolished, or in a hole underneath the rusted old bus.

It can serve as a legal front for the purchasing and storing of a variety of industrial tools and materials. while most people (or businesses) purchasing or owning a bulldozer, pounds of explosive materials, ridiculous amounts of fuel, welding torch(es), thermite, an incinerator capable of turning a body to dust in an hour, a crane, a garbage truck, shipping containers, parts to repair a plane or helicopter, a bus, etc. would be considered suspicious, all these and more are perfectly normal things to find in a scrapyard

And its old office will serve as a secure place to store and analyze stolen documents, physical and digital, for any info that may be of use.

Merryweather map and plans
so ive been going over those files we got from merryweather the last couple days, and ive made a map of their los santos operations. if we want to hurt them, then hitting these places is the way to do it.

So im leaving this info to you guys. hitting these places should be pretty simple, just scout out the location, gather allies to aid in your assault, and execute. most of these places should have equipment around that we can take and sell for a profit. if any intel is found (paper documents, hard drives, laptops, briefcases, etc) be sure to bring it back to the scrapyard. with the intel gathered from these locations i should be able to piece together exactly who it is that ordered the hit on don.

ooc: these missions can be done by anyone who wants to, regardless of rank. once you have hit a location and posted the job i will update the map, if possible try to write in gathering some intel (the type i described above) into these missions.

Intel gathering
All right guys, I have a job I need done. Merryweather has been setting up shop in east Los santos, dangerously close to our hq, so I want somebody to go and watch them, take pictures and evaluate what their doing, then report back. It is integral that this is done without merryweather noticing you. Once we have the intel we will plan a strike

the information division of crimecorp is in charge gathering intel on our enemies, and acting on it.
we perform recon on enemy operations, staking out and taking pictures to help improve our knowledge of how they operate.
we abduct and interrogate enemies.
we hunt down targets who have gone into hiding, tracking them down using any tool at our disposal.
we sabotage enemy communications and intelligence operations, murdering spies, hunting down rats placed in our organization, and bombing communication centers.
we perform false-flag operations, attacking organizations while disguised as a third party.
we oversee the cyber-crime committed by crimecorp.
we perform the tasks of cleaners, removing evidence from crime scenes and eliminating witnesses.
our base of operations is the scrapyard in blaine county, from there we plan ops and analyze information gathered

Hey, you all know me. It's Donaldson! So with the scrapyard down, i thought i might relay some tips of the trade to help us along.

Afternoon Boys and Girls. Gathering information for an enterprise such as ours isn’t always as easy as smashing through someone’s face. Its flying finesse to achieve that critical goal. If information can be achieved without bloodshed, it saves us hassle. If we can do our job in the shadows without witnesses, that’s perfect. At the same time, we’re dealing with hardened criminals. That might not be as easy as it looks.

[bSLAPPING 101 – As explained by Uncle Archie

Now if that doesn’t work enhanced interrogation techniques may be needed. Understand that these should be.

WATERBOARDING

Theres more than one way to skin a cat. I know we all like the blood and guts torture method but theres a reason why certain companies use this method to break terrorists. 600 thread count towels, afew gallons of water, and the back bench seat of a van. Strap your person onto the seat with the base of their head slightly over the edge at a forty-five. Tie the towel over their face and mouth, and then pour a half gallon of water on their face at a time. They wont drown and they will answer. You can slowly increase to a gallon at a time but no more than that. This method takes time but theres no evidence to clean up, no blood, no limbs, its just water. The 600 threat count will simulate drowning while allowing them to breath just enough.

FOR THE PSYCHOS

Some people don’t mind water. It may become time to interrogate somebody. I have spent the past two days driving and flying over Los Santos and Blaine County, and there is a lot of empty, quiet space. I know you guys like to torture a guy slowly, AND PAINFULLY inside of a trailer.

For that level of work rather than a container, pick up a rig. Drive it out towards pallet, theres mountain ranges and back roads so far off the grid, you don’t even have to gag them.

FOR THE OVERNIGHTS

Look, no more leaving hostages in assumed safe positions. If you have a hostage over night, lock him in the trailer and sleep in the cab of the truck. You can spend a night in a truck cab or a few years in jail. Your call. Best practice is to break your person before having a slumber party with them.

DISPOSAL

Never a fun job. With the Scrapyard back to just that, bodies cant just be burned. Theres some way to burn a body with acid but that shit is disgusting. Much easier to stop by the hardware store, get some cement and weight a body down to the crushing depth. I am working on a boat for the cause but in the mean time, if you have to clean a body, dump it in the ocean. No car to burn, no witnesses to see. Just a clean disposal.

SUBTERFUGE

Work on your costumes people. Woodland camo doesn’t blend in downtown nearly as much as a shirt and tire do. Meanwhile a shirt and tie does not hide well in Blaine County. Dress the part we’ll blend in a lot better. Spec ops gear is expensive, and as far as I know we are the only crew with the budget for that. If that’s going to be out trademark, leave no witnesses.

INDEPENDENT CONTRACT MISSIONS
Crime Corp is becoming notorious in the underworld as a professional crew, who completes tasks with brutal efficiency, expert level professionalism, and stylish grace. Because of that, we are being noticed by higher level criminals, not all crooks carry guns and do dirty work. The biggest names, politicians, coorperate lawyers, ceos, the elite, they separate themselves by using professional contractors, such as ourselves.

Details on Independent Contract jobs must be picked up in person. Detailed on a 3X5 index card, picked up at Smoke on the Water, a card that is to be destroyed immediately after reading. Independent Contracts pay out based on how the contract is executed. These jobs are usually of a high or unique level or difficulty. These are not assassinations so if a mess it made it will need to be cleaned up. Anyone in the information division can take these jobs.

50% to the contractor
10% to the handler
15% to Blaze
25% to Info Division.

INFORMATION DIVISION MISSIONS
These are jobs that are in direct support of Crime Corp. Usually but not always high paying jobs, authorized by Wally or Blaze. Blowback or failure as a result of these missions may adversely affect the crew. Payment for these jobs usually come from Wally rather than the person.

These jobs may be individually assigned based on skill set with details or posted to the info divison site the way the A-division does, Independent contract jobs should not have any significant bearing on the ongoing story. Organized tasks but stuff of moderate importance to the collective. Payment will be based on how the job is executed.

OOC: Someone who takes 3 pictures isn't going to make the same as someone who invests 18 or tells an interesting story. The more you put in, the more you get out, within reason. Don’t try to overstuff the story just to get a bigger pay check, its quality not quantity boys and girl.

Independent contract: "unfortunate son"

You know the type, guys who hoard guns and supplies, believe the apocalypse is around the corner, and everyone's out to get them, well we've got one where that actually is the case, and it's very powerful people that are out to get this one. Names Barry Lindon, lives out in the sticks surrounding chilliad, he's former military, was involved in the Gulf War, and was part of smuggling some confiscated opiates back to the states, which he got pretty damn rich on, he then used that money to set up a massive fucking bunker somewhere in the chiliad mountains, our employer needs you to find and capture him alive (big emphasis on that part) and is paying us a very large amount for it, I did some initial recon, guys police record is covered in fucking red tape, bunch of classified bullshit, but there was a little bit of useful info, he's associated with a suspected meth cook by the name of Ron Henderson, apparently the two are lifelong friends, so you might be able to get some info from him.

this is an open contract, any member of info division can take this job.

update on information division

we have started using the groups feature on iclan websites, and because of this i will now be posting open contracts to the group page for information division (located under members->groups in the menu) instead of the scrapyard, any current members should have a pm with the password in their inbox, any questions about this change can be sent to me via site chat or pm
